WHO'S GONNA PAY THE BILL?

I see a mother, sobbing
leaning over her hungry child
I see another young woman falling
while putting up the red lantern
Laborers returning home empty-handed
I see pain, sadness and reclining heads

I see gold-plated masks
Dearly paid lies
Guarded by whips woven by blood

and broken dreams

Who’s gonna pay the bill?
Who?
Who’s gonna pay for your stupidity
and arrogance?
For the pitiful crap of your personality
who’s gonna pay?
Who’s gonna pay for your sorry try
to look like Putin?
That despicable creature …

Someday, the bill will arrive…
Oh, yes, the bill will arrive!
Who’s gonna pay then,
when time of reckoning
will bang at your door?
Who’s gonna pay for your lies?
Who’s gonna pay the price of your rule
the mass robbery
violence and fascism?
Who’s gonna pay the ticket
for this irrational play signed by you?

Is there a charge for the losses?
The pregnant woman who lost her child in prison…
Who’s gonna count all those children
growing in the cage you created?
Do you know how many men and women
will feel miserable this morning?
Who’s gonna pay for the humiliation?

Who’s gonna pay
for the health and lives lost
at the construction sites
of your megalomaniac projects?
Really, tell me, who?
Who’s gonna pay the bill?
Who?
Who’s gonna pay for the kitschy toilet
that you and your bootlickers
call Triumphal Arch?
Who’s gonna pay
for your ignorance and vanity
costing people their dignity and lives?

But, the bill will arrive, someday
Who’s gonna pay then?
Who?

Did you ever think of the price?
I see you on the screen every day
I see, you believe you will get away
with your dreadful deeds
You seem to have a plan
in your stupid head
And, you seem to have
enough pawns to carry out that plan
You seem to be quite ready
to make many mothers cry
Just to save your ass

Do you believe it’s OK
when people are afraid of you?
You think it’s normal
if your party soldiers
patrol people’s lives?

I see your mignons
hordes of headless and
spineless creatures
I see your sentinels
eyeless bloodsuckers
walking in silence
spreading fear

But all that has to end
The ordeal will be over
And the bill will arrive
Who’s gonna pay then?
Who?
Who?
Who?
